In addition to being the name of the record label Black Rhombus is an acutal sound system. The sound system can be rented with an operator for any function. Two sets are available for rent. The Modern sound system Consisting of two powered Mackie Speakers with poles and any configuration of sound sources: Technics 1200 turntables and a Pioneer DJM 700 mixer, Denon dual CD player and Pioneer DJM 700 Mixer, Behringer 8 channel mixer (perfect set up for events where you want to control the music playlist and want us to provide the loud speakers. Just plug your laptop or ipod into the mixer and we will watch the levels.) The Vintage Sound System Consisting of two custom built analog speakers with 15" woofers horns and tweeters. 500 watt Power amplifier, graphic equalizer, Aphex Exciter, Garrard Turntable optional. Also any configuration of sound sources from the modern setup above. Microphones and stands also available. We also provide DJ's however we strictly play our style of music: 50's and 60's Oldies, Doo Wop, Soul, Funk, Roots Reggae, Dub, Rocksteady, Classic Hip Hop, IDM, Techno, Minimal House and Oddball dance music. Rhythm based music is our thing! If none of that sounds like what you want you can just rent the sound system and we will happily let you play DJ with the music you select. | >>RATES<<
